Death squads have returned to the streets of Baghdad with the first targeted killing of civilians in Baghdad for more than two years, Iraqi media have reported. Masked gunmen walked into the office of a charitable foundation in a Sunni part of central Baghdad and executed five employees. They also left behind a car bomb at the entrance of the building, which exploded when police arrived on the scene injuring two officers, according to the Al-Zaman newspaper. Pools of blood covered the floors of the charity office in a residential part of the Adhamiyah neighborhood and walls were riddled with bullets. Two black cars in the front yard had their windows shot out and were covered in blood.
