Opposition wins Greek election
Greece's opposition socialists have won the country's national election, ending five years of conservative rule.
With about 88 percent of the votes counted in Sunday's polls, the Panhellenic Socialist Movement party (Pasok) had won 43.93 percent, firmly ahead of the incumbent, New Democracy (ND), which garnered 34.03 percent.
The result gives Pasok a solid majority of 160 seats in the 300-member parliament and brings the party back to power after five years.
Pasok hailed the result of the vote - where turnout was 70.44 percent - as a "historic win".
